Recently i found this band called

In This Moment is an American melodic metalcore band formed in 2005. They have released two albums to date, both on Century Media Records. The band's sound is recognizable mainly for vocalist Maria Brink use of a combination of screaming and clean vocals.


History

In August 2005, singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth met through some common friends. After becoming acquainted, and finding that there was much in common between them, they began writing songs together. Soon thereafter they enlisted the help of Los Angeles drummer Jeff Fabb. By mid-2005, the lineup included Brink, Howorth, Fabb, guitarist Blake Bunzel, and bassist Josh Newell. The band recorded demos and posted them on MySpace, where they generated an internet following. The demos included rough versions of "Ashes", "The Legacy of Odio", "Next Life", "This Moment", and "Prayers", as well as a cover of Slayer'sKetaset, as well as his sound engineering work. Producer Pascual Romero (currently in Tinhorn) was then the bassist for a time before friend of the band Jesse Landry was eventually tapped to round out the band permanently. "Postmortem". During the summer of 2005, Newell departed from the band to focus on his other project,

By the end of the year In This Moment had generated a fanbase through internet marketing and do-it-yourself touring.This sparked an interest from Century Media Records, and a worldwide record deal followed. The band released their debut album Beautiful Tragedy on March 20, 2007, backed by the singles "Prayers" and title track "Beautiful Tragedy."

The band released their second album entitled The Dream on September 30th, 2008, along with the single "Forever." The album marked the band's debut on the Billboard Top 200, with it debuting at #70 in its first week after release. The album featured a less heavy approach, with a bigger focus on clean vocals.

The song 'Forever' has been released as a Downloadable track for the Harmonix 'Rock Band' games

Ga-Rei Zero
The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Agency. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the SDPA has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons.




School Days
Makoto Ito rides the train to and from school every day. However, at the beginning of his second term, he falls in love with a beautiful girl that also rides the train. Unfortunately, she barely knows of his existence. Her name is Kotonoha Katsura, and though they attend the same school, they are not in the same class. In an attempt to catch her eye, Makoto enlists the aid of a close female friend of his: Sekai Saionji. She helps him, despite the fact that she--unbeknownst to Makoto--is in love with him. Thus the three are bound in a love triangle of life changing proportions.

Chaos;Head

Takumi is a high school student. He is withdrawn and is not interested in 3D things. In his town, a mysterious serial murder case happens and people get panicked. One day, when he chats on the internet, a man suddenly contacts him and gives him an URL. He goes to the website and finds a blog image that suggests a next murder case.... On the next day, it really happens....

Takumi Nishijō suffers from intense delusions as a result of his apparent schizophrenia and the extremely secluded lifestyle he lives as a hikkikomori. One day he accidentally stumbles upon a gruesome murder scene, a part of a chain of events called "New Generation." After this, his life gets caught up in these events, and he meets a bunch of increasingly insane anime girls with swords.



Akane-Iro Somaru Saka

In order to protect the girl Yuuhi Katagiri, a new transfer student, from danger, Junichi Nagase is forced to kiss her. Not understanding what happend, she screams at him, not knowing that her father has arranged for her to marry him

One day Junichi Nagase comes across two boys tormenting Yuuhi Katagiri. When he steps in to help they run off calling him "Geno Killer". He then walks off without introducing himself or allowing the girl to either. The next day to both of their surprise she is introduced as a new transfer student to his class. The following day due to a misunderstanding he kisses her which greatly upsets her. That evening to his surprise and dismay she shows up to his door saying she is his fiancée and that she has come to live with him to evaluate him to see if he is worthy of her. Much hi-jinx ensues as the days go by.

One day Junichi Nagase, once a savage delinquent known as the "Geno Killer", saves Yuuhi Katagiri from danger. Later Junichi finds out that Yuuhi is a transfer student who has come to evaluate him as her fiance in an arranged marriage, and begins living with him and his sister, Minato.




Chrome Shelled Regios

In the distant future, a polluted world has been overtaken by havoc-wreaking creatures called Limbeekoon. Humanity, having been forced to relocate itself, must live in isolated mobile cities called Regios. A mysteriously skilled fighter named Leyfon Alseif enrolls in the Academy city of Zenri and is immediately noticed by Nina Antalk, leader or the 17 Military Arts Unit. He then reluctantly joins her squad, uncertain of what future awaits him and his new teammates within the city as well as the impending dangers in the midst of a plagued world.



Akikan!
Daichi Kakeru is a sixteen year-old high school student who has never had a girlfriend. Little did he know that everything was about to change when he bought a melon soda on his way home from school. His first sip became his first kiss, as the can came to life in the form of a beautiful girl, who he called 'Melon'. The can is part of a government project called 'Akikan', where certain empty cans turn into beautiful girls.



Asu No Yoichi
A boy swordsman, Yoichi and his father stays in mountain training for his descent from the mountain. Yoichi comes to the city to lodge and stay with 4 beautiful sisters. A new more severe "training" regiment awaits him.
